CRAZY DAY'S BIG FUN!!

Yes, it was indeed an awesome, fun, day and a fabulous weekend spent at Camp Youtaw, it was such a pleasure to spend time with such energized

members of the Muddy Waters Club. I believe, without a doubt that all members new and old really enjoyed themselves...as proven by viewing the pictures on

the web site, not an unhappy person in the crowd, even Dale's dog had a great time. It restores my faith in genuine people who care to gather to have fun. Most

members new and old who participated in this weekend's function did not seem to mind dressing up for our "CRAZY SUMMER FUN DAYS" event. Just goes to

show you that people really can still have fun during hard times and HOT days. EVERYONE LAUGHED TOGETHER WITH EACH OTHER!!!!

As the comradely amongst club members continues, I really look forward to future gatherings such as the parade, end of the year banquet, club rides and

any charity events we may participate in. IT'S ALL GOOD!!!

Thank you to all new members who came, and all old members who encouraged participation. Many Thanks to members Bobby and Janet for the use of the

.Youtaw. site. Many memories were made and a whole lot of good times were shared. Look forward to seeing you at the next get together!

UP COMING RIDES

July 3rd . 6th Due to gas prices being so high right now and learning that we would not have the member participation we had hoped for on the trip to Busco Beach. We decided to cancel the trip and there will be no club ride this month due to extreme weather conditions in Florida.

August 2nd For this month.s club ride we have decided to revisit the Lake Delancy West OHV Trail System located in the Ocala National Forest. We will start the ride from the parking lot at 10:00am sharp; there is a total of 125 miles of enjoyable trails available to ride that are open until dusk however there is NO night riding allowed. The cost for the day is as follows, day parking is $6.oo per vehicle and you must also purchase a 1-3 day ride pass which cost $10.00 per ATV or SXS for adults and $5.00 for children 15yrs and younger who will be operating their own ATV. The trail conditions are similar to Crooms OHV area but with less whoops and more forest/shaded area. Let.s hope for rain because without it you can trust that this ride will be dusty so make sure to bring your dust mask.
Helmets are not mandatory but are suggested. There are no vending machines so bring your own lunch, drinks, and ice. Directions: From Salt Springs intersection of SR19 and CR316, take SR19 north 4.5miles. Turn left on Forest Road 75, (this is a well-graded wide dirt road), travel 3 miles on it and turn left into Delancy West. See ya there!! For Current Info. on Trail Conditions, call the free OHV hotline at: 866-607-2016 or see website:
www.fs.fed.us/r8/florida.com
Information courteous of Ali Leon.

October We will be heading out-of-state to ride at Coal Creek which is located in thebeautiful mountains of Oliver Springs, Tennessee. The ride will be October 10th . 12th with most members driving up on Thursday the 9th and returning home on Monday the 13th so that those members who work will only miss about 3 days. It will take you about 11 to 12 hours and the cost to ride is $33.00 for a 2-day pass or $44.00 for a 3-day pass per ATV or Side- by- Side. Camping is available at the Windrock Campgrounds 865-435-3939, which is located only 2 miles from the trailhead, and you can ride you ATV from the campground to the trails. They also have just opened Windrock Park Campground that is on site at the trailhead, for reservations call 865-435-1251. For those thinking more about staying in a Hotel, they are located between 7 to 9 miles from the trailhead and phone numbers are as follows:
